This classic model is carved from one piece of beech wood. Engraved on this model is the Lion. The lion motif is firmly positioned within the Armenian pictographic and coat of arm systems. This is a symbol of inspiration and courage.

This model is hand-processed. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of brass. The entire playing field is hand carved of one piece of wood. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers.

The set includes:                                                   

  • 32 playing pieces, made of beech and walnut wood, with velvet fabric applied to bottom of each piece,
  • Dice made from billiards balls,
