This unique box-style chess is carved from one piece of beech wood. The box stand features beautifully carved edges and legs and the top opens to store the chess pieces.

This model is completely handcrafted. It is varnished. The hinges are made of cast bronze. Letters and numbers are carved.

The set includes:

32 playing pieces, made of beech and walnut wood, with velvet fabric applied to bottom of each piece,
Wooden box.

It is believed that chess is a game for those who are highly intelligent by nature.
